geonode:mike_sites_proj This layer shows all those protected areas (PAs) from the January 2017 version of the World Database on Protected Areas (WDPA) that overlap with MIKE sites. The Monitoring the Illegal Killing of Elephants (MIKE) programme of CITES operates in some 60 sites in 30 range states of the African elephant and in 27 sites in 13 range states of the Asian elephant.
